Firefox rendering problem

When using Report Viewer within VS 2005, If I enable to show the toolbar, my tables show up scrambled under Firefox.

Any ideas?

I am having the same problem!

Anyone have suggestions?? My clients would like to view reports in both IE and Firefox.

|||Same thing here|||

Hi Theresa - Just saw another note on this. With the Active X that's not possible. I've moved my clients over to a zero footprint product LGX Report (www.logixml.com) for that reason. The product is free and there is a more robust version or maybe two I think for advanced features. I had one client that wanted dashboards so they purchased their top product.

good luck

Hey,

I am facing the same problem. Were any of you guys able to get it working.

Let me know if you were able to do it or can suggest some ways to get round it.

Thank You.

Is there a fix out there for this issue? Is Crystal the answer? There is not a lot of info/docs for the ReportViewer control :(

I also have the same issue. Looks like ReportViewer is not compatible with FireFox.

Some interesting links:

FireFox 1.5.0.1 w/ SRS 2000 Toolbar Broken

I'm having a problem with report rendering in FireFox 1.5. For some reason the toolbar is about 200px high with some of the toolbar icons wrapping. Worse, the toolbar doesn't work. The first/next/back/last icons don't work and the page number textbox is disabled. Export doesn't work either. So basically it's not even useable. I've read that offically the Find/Print features are not supported for FireFox, but nothing beyond that. I also have had the same problem that I've seen in other forums where the report table itself is squished. I was able to fix that by using the solution that has been posted. For those that care, the solution involves adding a textbox with cangrow = false.

It's pretty frustrating that what is otherwise a very good reporting service can't operate with a 1st tier browser like FireFox. Hopefully I'm just missing something.. Anyone know a fix for the toolbar? Does FireFox 1.5 work ok with SRS 2005?

It seems the toolbar worked in FireFox 1.0.7, and has since broken in 1.5. Can anyone confirm this? Does anyone know a fix for this beyond hidding the toolbar and writing a custom one?
