Fit table on one page if possible

Hi
I'm trying to figure out what the purpose of the "Fit table on one page if
possible" option is...
I have a very simple report with two tables (no grouping...)
The first table has about 60 records, taking up ALMOST two pages; the second
has only like 8 records so is very small.
When rendering the report (doesn't matter which format), the second table
starts at the bottom of page 2 (with just the header and one record), and
continues on page 3.
I want the second table to start on page 3.
I tried the "Fit table on one page if possible"-property of the second
table, but this doesn't have any effect.
So: what is the meaning of this property ?
thanks in advanceare you setting the page size correctly in RS?
try setting the page margins to 1cm all round, and then make sure you have
1cm all round clearence in the report itself.
You could also try selecting everything you want on the second page (if you
are willing to have a second page) and setting the 'PageBreakAtStart' option
to 'True'
Hope this helps

margins or anything...
I'm afraid the PageBreakAtStart is not an option... if both tables have only
like 10 records, both tables should appear on the same page.
I would just like to know what this option really does.
"Fit table on one page if possible" - it sounds very nice, but I never saw
it in action.

this forum can tell us.
